If you would like to make homemade sandwich bread for your family you can't beat this super easy recipe.
I used this exact recipe and Cindy has prepared one that is similar. You use whole wheat berries, not flour, to make pancakes and they turn out great! Really different and fun to try!!!
2 C Warm Water 1/3 cup millet
1/3 C Honey 2 C All Purpose Flour
2 tsp. Salt 2-2 1/2 C Wheat Flour
1 pkg. Dry Yeast 3 Tbsp. Sesame Seeds
Stir water, honey and salt together in a bowl and let stand until lukewarm. Add yeast and let dissolve for a minute. Combine millet, sesame seeds and all purpose flour. Add to water mixture, beating for 2-3 min. Continue beating with large wooden spoon as you add the whole wheat flour. Add enough to make a stiff, heavy, sticky batter-it should not hold its shape. Spoon into greased bread pan and smooth top. Let rise to the top of the pan. Bake at 400F for 40-50 min. Turn out on cooling rack.
If you want delicious waffles these are a must try! And it takes 3 cups of whole wheat flour so our sample size of flour will work perfect!

1 1/2 Tbsp. Instant Yeast
2 Cups Warm Water
1/2 Cup Honey
4 1/2 Cups Clear Skies Milling Whole Wheat Flour
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Oats
Combine yeast, water and honey in a bowl, let sit until it becomes frothy, about 5 minutes. Add 2 cups flour, salt and oats mix until combined. Add remaining flour slowly until you get a soft dough. It will still be a little sticky. Using a dough hook, knead on low for 4 minutes. Cover and let rise until it is doubled in size. Punch down dough and put it in a greased loaf pan. Let rise again until it is doubled. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool completely.
